Default Just got my GS. Minor question/problem.

Hey all. This is my first thread. I just got my GS300 the other day, its a '98 GS300 with 167k miles.

So far everything is going pretty great, but there's one minor issue that I'm worried about. When I'm coasting in the final gear (4th?) and I hit the gas suddenly, the car does a little jerk/thump right when I hit the gas. Is this normal? And if not, does anyone know what it could be? I'm trying to get all the problems worked out ASAP before the 2k mile warranty runs out.

I'm pretty sure it only happens in the last gear, it definitely doesnt do it in 2nd.

When your in your final gear and you hit the gas, it could be from downshifting.

Or your motor/tranny mounts?

Nah the gear isn't changing. It's just when I suddenly hit the throttle (not WOT). If I do it really gently it doesn't do it.
