Default Thanks!

I don't post much on here, but am always reading the knowledge base you all have provided. It has saved me hundreds of dollars in labor costs that i am now able to do myself because of your DIY's and help. It really is an amazing forum and i want to thank you all for providing excellent guidance and taking the time to answer the many questions that i have had.

I agree. Since becoming a member a few months ago, I've done a few repairs to my wife's GS that would have cost a lot more if a shop or dealer had worked on it. The last thing we did was repair the ML sub with a kit from simplyspeakers.com. A new ML sub would've cost over $300, the kit was around $30. I still need to replace the right rear door actuator but it shouldn't be too bad according to the write up I've seen on here.

9/10 times the guys on this forum are smarter/better at diagnosing problems then mechanics. Case in point, my ac from time to time won't blow cold air. I also hear clicking from the vents. Had the shop look at the car, they saw the problem, checked the ac freon levels and in the end said my car is fine. A few searches here and i discover the symptoms i am experiencing are caused to defective servo motors. And aside from my giant hands, it doesn't look like its too difficult of a job to replace them.

just another example of why this forum is awesome!
