Default Problems With Radio Install...AppRadio in 1998 GS400, Please Help!

Well after searching and reading tons of threads I either feel like I am an idiot or my car is just weird....I have a '98 GS400 and I'm trying to install my AppRadio on it. I have all the wires for microphone, iphone cable, and nav antenna all run....and I have the power, accessory, and illumination all hooked up so the radio powers on.

Here's where I'm puzzled...I've read a ton of threads by searching the forums and everyone says they remove the glovebox and the factory amp is on the right and you just wire up speaker wires there based on the factory schematic....well I dropped the glovebox and there is no factory amp....

So I tried just testing wires to see which wires ran to each speaker and I can't get any to come on...I can hear them go on very quietly even when volume is at max. Car never had any other aftermarket stereo stuff installed before me....100% stock.

Any ideas or links to threads I may have missed?

Thanks LudeNsoL! I did some more research and found it finally!

Not sure how I missed this, but every thread I read kept saying amp was in glovebox so when I didn't find mine I was puzzled.

Crutchfield only goes by plug and play items. He has a nak system so of coarse they will say it doesn't fit.
