planning on swapping out my auto for manual, what would I need? and I need some recommendations as well between the transmissions listed above. Some where down the road I am planning on adding in a LSD.

Check the SC forum, they've swapped their 400's. I've done a DIY 5spd swap on my sc300, it was pretty simple. For the 1uzfe you'll need an adapter so you can mount the tranny on the block.
