Default Tranny mount

Hi guys,

I got my tranny mount brand new and the paint on the mount is chipped, should this be a concern?

bwahahaha, this cannot be a serious thread.

Lali, paging Mr Lali....****-adkt your being paged sir

rocks/debris hits this and its not protected from those so why would a paint chip matter? bottom line answer is NO it doesnt matter but if YOU dont like it you can always send it back to whoever you got it from

dunno what model you have but they essentially look like this for the V8 (this one is shot but i "pieced it back together for the picture")

and this is what the V-8 tranny mount looks like all broken after ONLY 110,000k miles

Short answer, no. Were you worried because of the rust that would/might occur?

If you want peace of mind, you can spray paint the bare metal, but it's probably not something to worry about, even in WA...

What kind of crappy quality is Lexus making that a tranny mount only last 110k miles?
