Nice car! Did you replace the ball joints because they were bad or is that a routine thing that should be done on all gs's?

My passenger side was creaking and squeeking, and all that mess. And thats how i found out that these parts go out rather quick on these cars.

Nice clean car

The only thing that looks odd to me are the wheels. When I saw the very first photo I knew they were stock IS300 wheels. Only problem with those is that they are 1" narrower than the stock GS400 17" wheels - that's why they sit inboard so far.

Nothing that a set of spacers wont solve! The stock IS wheels look better than the stock GS wheels, They have more definition and cleaner cut lines, and if these weren't the chrome ones, the brushed finish is way better than the dull silver finish of the alloy GS 17's

Yes, RockAuto FTW!

And Yes, spacers are next in line. They do look better than the stock GS wheels, but what kinda got me was that theyre 7in rims, I was hoping to throw atleast 245's on them but 225 is the biggest the IS wheels can take.

Car is beautiful. I still see some left over residue from the emblems that was removed from the trunk. get you some cleaner wax and buff the rest of it out. or just put a little was on a towel and give it a good rubbing. it should all come off.

Wax and a high speed buffing wheel will clear that right up! I debadged basically every car I own.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I'm looking at your signature pic, and I owned a black 1IS and the brushed finish 17's it came with are way more eye catching than the dull silver GS 17's in my personal opinion. If I had that same black GS with those same 17's I would get them powder coated gloss black. But that's just me, I hate regular alloy wheels. I need some type of polish or color.

My friend very nice indeed! Love the look.. Especially the chrome IS300 wheels you have. Which I believe are 17"....? You should install some H&R spacers to have them sit flush... Very nice look with OEM wheels. Btw, GREAT job. love the car
