Default Stance SC5 wheels

So... I have a buddy that selling his set of 19" Stance sc5.

Rim specs are 5X114.3, 19x8.5 x 35mm offset front / 19x9.5 x40mm offset rear
Tire specs are 255/35/19 front / 275/35/19 rear (Falken452 tires)

He's put only about 5-7 miles on the wheels driving from the body shop to his house. So it's pretty much brand new. He wants to go with 20" rims.

I've seen these rims on ebay for like $2499 with cheaper Nexen tires and tHese have Falken452 on them. I'm thinking of picking it up from him if I can come up with the funds. He's willing to sell it for about $2100. Is that a good deal??

Judging from the pic the wheels are coming off of a 99 Honda Accord V6 Coupe. That car is a FWD car with wheel wells that are much more shallow than our RWD GS Lexus, plus RWD offset wheels are usually way more aggressive than FWD. So If you plan on spending that type of money on wheels I'd buy a set of wheels that are made for a RWD car, like a Lexus or a G35 or a 350z.

Have to agree with the consensus. You can find a less expensive sets of rims that will fit way better. I have XXR 521's as my daily rollers and I spent just under $2,000 with tires. Those rims don't look bad but I feel like you won't be completely happy with the end result on a GS..

Those wheels are a joke. Especially on a GS. They are stupid weak and way overpriced for how weak they are.

Take a long look at the wheel market wether you have enough money or not just check it all the time, familiarize yourself with prices and styles, then come to your decision of what you wanna buy.

+1 ......people that are selling those brand wheels for $2k+ is a joke. As everybody said, you can find more aggressive wheels for cheaper than that whether it's with or without tires and made for RWD. Just look through the wheel classified section. There's always somebody selling wheels that's a good deal or check www.vipstylecars.com/forums/ . But if you really like those wheels, don't say i didn't warn you. i think it' looks fugly on our car imo. I had similar wheels on my car and it looked WEIRD. Here's my rear pic 20x10.5 +25 and 20mm adapters Concept One CS5.0 285/25/20 (no stretch). I basically sold my BMW and kept the rims and slapped it on the GS with adapters AND took it right off and sold it.

Most concave look better on a BMW imo (except for the style 95's)

Here's a pic of it on my BMW before i sold the car

You be the judge OP. But it's your car.

Haha ok cool. Thanks for everyone's input. These rims actually look really good in person and I really like it. I know we all have our own different taste. I did shop around for this particular rim and everywhere else sold it for about 2300-2600, and I know he got it for around 2200. 19" tires are so expensive. But yea, I was wasn't too sure of the offsets because it was for an Acura.

Hey sc300jz, how much did you get yours for and where at?

You should jump on this OP. Iforged are way better than stance wheels any day of the week. A pair of 20" iforged wheels retail for around $4-5000 and they are 3 piece forged wheels.
