what if you took the original fog light GS plastic housing, and if you could drill/hole saw two 2 inch holes in it without cracking the lens insert the ebay fogs into that lens shell/housing and paint the lens black?

Unfortunately not... the only reason mine are that way is because I bought 2 sets of the fogs and just swapped the housings over.

How are you guys wiring them? Buying a fog light wiring kit or tapping into factory wiring?

When I do mine I will just use the factory wiring to fire up the relys that I will use to power my HID's. I think that the factory wireing will not be able to fire up my lights on their own.

I know from the picture it looks like you can just cut the fog light housing, but the physical dimensions of the housing plus the lights requires you to cut the fins. The factory light is a lot shorter than the ebay fogs.

If you wanted to go through the trouble of making the ebay fogs fit the factory size hole you might run into trouble with the plastic housing it self. I think if you start hacking up the ebay fog light housing the plasic will just crack.

If you're referring to stocksedan's pictures, the reason they're not as bright is because he's running LEDs.

ok, now, Don't BASH Me Too Hard for this haha. But leave it up to Pete to find a way to do things without spending a penny.

This is temporary until i figure out a way to fabricate something legit with a real kit.
