DIY - Ebay's 98-01 Land Cruiser Dual Fog Light Mod
#76
Wow... totally forgot about this
Anyway, the measurements that I posted were for the entire housings. I can get the ones from the lenses but I'll have to dig them out of my garage. I've been waiting on my body shop to call me so that I can drop the car off since he'll be painting/installing them along with painting the rest of the front end and fixing my jacked up job of fender rolling lol. Also going to put my new [to me] Taba grille on but marks behind the TTE grille would take away from it...
Either way, should have some pictures posted in a couple of weeks
@ pmlexus - I look forward to seeing yours done as well man

It will be a week or so before I install the lights I need to get my hid kits and I am not sure if I am going to paint my housings or not.

the housing didn't look like it would fit h3c HID so i just decided to go the safe route, got h3 led. the shortest ones out there which matched the length of the halogen h3 it came with. 9leds to be exact. looks really nice at night, but the light output is not superbright. Oh yeah, left the HALOs unhooked because only half of the ring lit up when we tried it...ohwell, ricer failed
Have a feeling this mod will "blow up" gonna start seeing GS with these dual foglight mod. which i still havent seen around yettttttt

Like I said when I posted about installing the HIDs a while back, the H3C's will fit, but the base will need to be modified slightly...
Size comparison: H3C HID vs H3 Halogen

Advil4u - I was thinking going with that lip also. Where I placed my lights it sit back a about 1/2 inch. Which I think will have plenty of room and should fit. If it fit with the stock fixture it should have no problems.
