Looks good. The only thing I would have changed would be to dremel out the housing on the fogs so the slats of the bumper could pass through. Would be just a little cleaner, this way you don't see the slats are chopped.

YaKuZa_GS, that's a pretty slick idea... I may have to give it some thought (I was about to do the same conversion).

UPDATE: To anyone who was wondering if HIDs could be used in these housings, they WILL NOT fit... I had the fogs waiting and received my H3 HIDs from DDM tuning today. Long story short: the depth of the housing isn't deep enough to accommodate the length of the HID bulbs. So... if you're still interested in this conversion it'd be best to find some nice yellow halogen H3 bulbs instead.

what you need is H3C hid bulbs. the problem is that H3 HIDs are longer than halogen H3 bulbs thats why it doesn't fit. H3Cs are shorter and should fit

I received (and responded to) your PM, so I'll check out that avenue whenever I can find some spare metal. I'm not sure how well LED bulbs compare in terms of actual light output. I'm currently stationed in the UK, so I use my fogs on a pretty regular basis.

LEDS will give you next to nothing in terms of light output. even worse than halogen.

Any idea of where to find H3C bulbs? All I've found so far were on ebay...

(5 seconds later) Nevermind... The Retrofit Source actually carries the bulbs. Good looking out either way.

I ordered them last night and they shipped out today so hopefully I'll receive them next week. It's a bit hit-or-miss with USPS and their delivery times lately...
