Yo dudes..
I'm doing a 1jzgte engine conversion into my GS300..
Most the work is done now, I'm currently trying to get the Instrument Cluster working...

Does it run through the original ecu? If so, how can I make it work without using the original ecu?

Is it posible to get a Pinout diagram of the cluster so I can wire the corresponding wires to it to make it work?? Or does it need to be controlled by the ecu/multiplex bull****?

Does any one know where I can find a Pinout for the cluster? Or do I need to go through it and power up each pin and see what's what? Lol..

Also, I have front headlights, but no rear lights?
I have left hand side power windows & seats etc... But no power windows & seats etc on the right hand side?
Are these things related?

dale i am in the same headache as you right now trying to install an aristo cluster into a tacoma with my 2jzgte vvti swap . thanks for asking this questions it helped me get a better perspective. apreciate it . sincerly michael
