Pics of my "new to me" 250k mile 1999 GS300
Hi! I recently traded my 98 e39 BMW for this 99 GS300. It currently has a whopping 250k miles but seems to be running strong...much stronger and smoother than the problematic BMW that I traded it for
Anyway, while browsing through the pictures on this forum, I believe "CptCrunch" used to own this car before the last owner. "CptCrunch," if you see this post, I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me whatever history you know about the car. I plan to do some preventative maintenance on it, but if some work has already been performed I'd really like to know
Anyway, here she is...needs some cleaning up but it'll be a nice and comfy daily driver
Quick wash and interior shampoo'ed before I took her home last night...
After a quick detail at the local car wash ...
Here's the car I traded to get the Lexus...it looked nice but ran rough (I just couldn't bare to spend more and more money trying to resolve the issue)

That's my exact plan! After reading just a few posts here, I'm definitely going to replace what you listed ASAP. I hope this thing can last for another 250k

That's why I bought my 01 GS300 in 2008 with 120k miles on it for $6000 and then sold it a year later with 145k miles on it for $7500

Ray, yea bro its crazy how we both came from the same mustang club and now have both grew into GS's lol! I still got a mustang that I road race but it's far from being comfortable enough to drive on the street I'm glad I know some kind of history on this car now being that it came from you, but I still plan to do the essential maintenance on it. I'll hit you up

I agree...it's great to know that my car belonged to a fellow enthusiast and not just some kid off the street who didn't know anything about it
Thanks! I'll keep the maintenance up to date as much as possible. Gotta get started on it here soon though!

Thanks man! I'm really liking the smooth ride and comfort!
That's what I said when I first checked it out! The body condition alone shows that it was cared for throughout the 250k miles it was driven.
Well, I got it in a trade deal...and my BMW was acting up big time, so I guess you can say I got a "good deal" lol!
