Gauge pod help please
#18
i went the ashtray route, I wasnt a big fan of the gauges on the pillar in the GS. Easiest way to do the pillar is get some plexiglass. lowes or home depot has it free for the size youll need, they have the scraps laying around from the cuts people dont want. get some black paint ( i used rustoleum satin) and a dremel and some velcro. then just cut the plexi to fit in place of the ash tray, cut the holes for the guages and then paint the back of the plexiglass so the front looks almost like black glass. and use the velco one side for the plexiglass and one for the tabs where the ash tray was so you can pull the guages out when u need to. just a cheap alternative

I was also curious to see where everyone mounted their gauges. I was thinking about doing the single din radio but don't want to modify my Sport Design ashtray. Can anyone point me to some pictures for ideas?
