I used rustoleum taillights tint spray paint,
I cleaned them up real good then wet sanded with 2000grit
It took one coat for the darkness I'm at now, I made two passes horizontally and vertically
And let them dry.
When I do the mains I'm gonna buy clearcoat and wet sand again with the 2000grit
And hit them with the clear so its protected and so it will have a higher gloss finish

The inners were mainly a test to see how the paint would turn out so this coming Friday they'll all be done and they will definitely be the same shade

The smoked look goes better with the color of the car vs blacked out, after the outters are done I might go a shade darker, all depends how it all looks together
