Default Mrr gt1

I am in the process of buying a set of MRR GT1s for my gs4. I wanted to know how to tell if its real or fake. Do MRR rims have a special engraving on them? Also, the rims say they are 5x114.3 but when I tried mounting them they didn't fit. Does this mean that they are fake or do I just not know how to put on rims haha (joke). Anything would be helpful. Thanks.

that's odd, what car did it come off of? no stickers or logos stamped in the back of the wheel? and I don't think anyone would bother to fake a mrr.

Are they not fitting because of offset, not clearing the caliper?

No, they don't even go on the bolt.

It came off a E39 M5 but he used wheel adapters. Its stamped 5x114.3, 690KG, 19x9 1/2, JWL, and stuff like that. Nothing like MRR.

I did some more research and even tho I still don't see MRR engraved anywhere I think they are real. The only problem is that it says its 5x114.3 but it doesn't fit on my car and there are no signs of redrilling. I'm stumped.

Sorry. I don't have pics since I didn't buy them yet but I don't see how you can tell what the bolt pattern is from a pic.

you can simply measure the back of the wheel to see what the bolt pattern is, however since they don't fit maybe look for another set of wheels?

so i took a risk and bought it and it is definitely 5x120. Now my options are wheel adapters, redrilling, or selling them. I am so bummed out because they are really nice. I am probably not going the wheel adapter route because I've heard too many bad things about them. so its up to redrilling or selling. If anyone knows a place in socal that can redrill rims without costing me an arm and a leg then please tell me. If not, I'm going to have to sell them.
