HELP change spark plugs and now CEL!!!!
okay so i changed out my spark plugs with ngk iridums and before i put them i check all of them and they were all gapped at .040....now my check engine light is on and the code it is throwing is p0325 knock sensor 1 circuit (bank 1)...what did i do wrong or why is it throwing this code? the car runs really sludges and there is no power at all...
i figured the car would run better since i put new plugs in it and the plugs i took out were some auto lite double plantinums but the thing was the first two were auto lite and the two in the middle were denso iridiums and the last two were auto lite...i check the gap on the auto lite plugs and they were .044 and the two denso were .040...so i figured the denso were the correct gap and from my understanding your not suppose to gap the indium plugs...
i also changed my oil, valve cover gasket, cleaned my maf with maf cleaner, clean my throttle body with throttle cleaner while the throttle was off the car while i was changing the valve cover gaskets...after all this was done i started it up and it was good, drove it around the block and the CEL came on and i check to see what code it was and it gave me the code above...the next day i degreased the eninge and pressure washed it to clean it....i dont think any of this has anything to do with it but its just what i did to it at the same time the CEL came on...
this is my daily driver and i need to get it fixed before anything else happens...also is it okay to still drive it?
if any one can help me out it would be great thanks!!!

most likely going lean so no it's not ok. How much damage is being done would depend on many things.
how hard is a swap, I want one

Okay checked the maf and throttle body they look good and dry. Double checked my work and everything seems to be in place and normal. Knock sensor wire is good and sensor is dry.
What could be causing this issue?

Are you having a similar problem? It’s been over 10 years since there was any interest in this thread. So u must be in similar circumstances or something? I would start a new post explaining what’s going on, it’s unlikely you’ll get much information from the OP now that a decade has passed
