Default Brake upgrade for my GS430.. Suggestions, advice, opinions, etc.

Hello. I wanna get a brake upgrade for my car but being that I'm not into all that customization stuff like lowering my car or changing calipers or none of that, I've decided to just get 4 cross drilled rotors with new ceramic pads. Below is the link of the brakes I plan to buy:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/140610502429...84.m1438.l2649

These are the so so brakes in the price range. Has anyone ever heard of these brakes? I know there's top notch Brembo brakes and stuff like that but my money is not up there for that at this moment. There's cheaper brakes but they're no official name brand. These at least have a 36,000 mile warranty/ 3 years. Can anyone maybe give me some advice, suggestions, opinions, etc.? I believe this will be a smooth upgrade for my car. Good look too. Any comments dropped deeply appreciated.

If you use stock pads with drilled and slotted rotors, you'll be losing braking capability in every day driving. They have less surface area for the pads to bite, which equals less braking force. Now, if you plan on autocrossing, road racing, or doing lots of hard braking the drilled rotors are a good choice because they will dissipate the heat and gasses from the pads providing better braking, and no fading.

Depending on your driving, I would look for larger discs and calipers first.

If you do go with the slotted rotors, theres lots of options that are probably the same stuff, for less

Definitely agree with getting larger calipers first.

If you're not looking to mod your brakes but want better stopping power and not having to change calipers or anything. I'd suggest you get Brembo blanks and either the green or the red pads. I have the same set up on my supra and man, they bite really well although the greens let out a lot of dust.

What he said about the pads^^

I would also buy some decent brake fluid and bleed all four calipers, starting with the farthest one from the master cylinder. Over time the fluid loses its ability to repel water, and basically gets old like any fluid.

thats what i plan on doing. Its the only noticeable difference brake mod i see worth it other then running a more aggressive pad which will cause you to run through rotors faster

Are the Brembo blanks even an upgrade over a "Parts Store X" replacement rotor?

Also, are what year LS400 calipers are you guys referring to? Are they a direct replacement?

Do they appear to be anything other than a stock replacement disc?
