Its $100 extra for painting, which is done by my local Lexus Dealership Body Shop. Depending on the color code paint is done from a 2 Stage and up to a 3 stage painting process.
1st Step is prep and primer
2nd Base Coat
3rd Pearl or metallic (based on color code)
4th Clear Coat
and finally wet sanding and buff.
So its a good amount of work when painting these LED mirror covers.

As for the the following:
Door Panel removal
Mirror Assembly
Wiring
Now as for the disassembling the mirror assembly its much easier on the 2001+. Once you have the assembly off the car, you need to remove the mirror once you have the mirror off you will see 4 Phillips-head screw, remove them and the assembly will split in two parts (front and back).
I hope this helps you out.

will there be any fast blinking turn signal problems due to led bulbs in the mirror? also roughly how many hours is required by professional install? i'l probably wont diy this becuase the wiring looks to be a pretty big hassle
