If you are having a hard time figuring it out take it to a local repair shop

The repair shops don't know **** none of them know about these sensors unless I go to the dealer which I'm definitely not trying to get raped so that's a no

Wouldn't that cause a CEL? For a wire to go bad out of nowhere sounds weird. But the only thing I can think of is when the mech was chaning the plugs he noticed a few of them were not tightened all the way and we thought that was part of the issue. Could the loose plugs have fouled the wires? I'd hate to pay to get wires don't when I just changed the plugs for it to not do anything

You'll find out as soon as you try and drive it. The reason in telling you to disconnect it is too try and eliminate the probable causes I've tried these methods before and I have been able to figure out the problem.

first things first....

The absolute first thing that i would do would be to run it as low on gas as possible and see if it gets worse.it it does you have garbage in your tank.....when i would fill up i would put a bottle of fuel system drier in there and some "stab-il ethanol treatment. It sounds like you are having "ethanol gas" problems. (quote...techron gas treatment the problem still occurs but maybe not as bad as before). When you get fuel that has ethanol in it, the ethanol attracts water and can seperate with the water from the gas. if this does not help then i would:

1. unplug and inspect the wires and plugs on all your coil packs.
2. remove and inspect you intake system. (check vacuum lines for leaks)
3. with intake off motor cold start engine and inspect tps/throttle body.
4. spray carb cleaner around intake manifold to check for leaks. (if there is a leak the engine will race a little when you spray carb cleaner near the leak)
5. check pcv valve for proper operation(or just buy a new one they are cheap)
6. check vvti oil filter screen and clean
7. check fuel pressure
8. check for low voltage and bad grounds.
7. disconnect battery for 10 mins or so and reset the comptuer.

if none of this works its off to the dealer or a local toyota repair specialist.

Yeah, the fact that you have no codes is an issue. I had an almost identical problem and did like you with spark plugs, MAF sensor etc, took to the Lexus dealer and they couldn't find out what was wrong, told me they needed two more hours to diagnose which would be $200. Turned out to be the fuel pump, but I had a check engine light though saying bank 1 is lean.
Take it to Autozone, they might be able to see if there is a pending code.

Yea I WISSSSH I had a CEL so I didn't need to go thru this! How long did ur problem persist before the CEL came on? Because my problem just started last month so maybe it needs to get worse or something

Based on wat u said I jus remembered that about 2 months ago this battery inmy car died for no reason when its a new battery so I took it to autozone and they tested it and said its fine then I haven't had a problem since. But for it to completely die then suddenly work maybe the battery is the issue? Also I have a piece that broke off inside the cat converter like you can hear it clanging around if you shake the cat. Could that MAYBE be the issue like the metal piece that's loose gets stuck in a certain place blocking flow of gas or something? These are the only logical things I can think of. I'm going to try the empty tank thing next to narrow down tht possibility

And I've reset the ECU by unplugging the battery a few hours which made the car drive real nice at first but after a day or so sitting overnight the same problem occurs

I have the same problem. Neither my mechanic or I can figure it out. It's only when I first start it up in the morning. I have an 02 430, it just started a few months ago and I've done all the same things you've done.

EDIT: I have read that a bad battery can cause weird things in our cars - it might be worth trying that as a diagnostic step next.
