GS 300 or GS 400? Which one to buy?

i regretted getting a 300 a month ago. have no ommpp that I'm looking for. Was thinking about turbo, but I know i won't have the dough. Bottom line if you want to keep it fairly stock, go with 400.. I am going to find sc400 now for daily and sell my gs300 =)

I was lucky enough to get a gs400 for 3k, it has 225k miles but it still runs strong. Got a family now running up the credit cards for performance parts are out of the question now but you love the gs4.

GS400 for sure. I have one with 268k miles. Runs great. I had oil leak from my cam seals but that has been my only problem and I fault myself for bad maintenance habits. Guy changing the seals went ahead and cleaned out everything, put in a new water pump and timing belt. All is good now for sure.

I tried to talk myself into a GS300 since they are slightly cheaper and get slightly better mpg.
I knew deep down that I wanted the more powerful of the two cars.
I ended up buying the GS430 and everytime I hit the gas pedal I am so happy that I did.
If you are an enthusiast, get the 400/430, you won't regret it. If you get the 300, everytime you see a 400/430 go by, it will sting just a little.
Side note: I had a funny convo with a friend about this. He tells me, "I am so disappointed in you for even considering the Camry version of the 2GS. I mean come on, are you a straight man or a gay man, seriously!"
No offense to gay people, but it cracks me up everytime.

GS400/430!!!! im pretty sure the MPG between the 300/400/430 differs just a little. I have driven and worked on all Gs models and to be honest If i were to get a 2nd gen GS it would be the 400/430. Unless you're planning to go 2jzgte then get the 300
