Default 99 GS300 Power Steering Pulley Spins on Shaft. loose

Hi All - hope someone can help.

My power steering pulley is loose on the shaft. I can't tell if the shaft "teeth" or the pulley "teeth" are worn. The pulley free-spins on the shaft. I can't figure out how to remove the nut on the shaft. How do I hold the shaft to loosen the nut now that the pulley is loose? There's a "hole" on the end of the shaft but I've tried allen keys and torx bits but it doesn't seem to hold the shaft.

Thanks.

I figured it out. Pull the pump out. Remove the screws opposite of where the pulley is. 2 of the screws mounts the reservoir. Then there are 2 others. Remove the back cover and you'll see the other end of the shaft. The pump "blades" are connected to it. Remove that assembly. Careful as the "blades" will fall out. You'll see the shaft spline. I used a vise grip to grab the shaft and then a socket on the pulley side to loosen. Once removed, reinstall. Saves you from getting a new pump. I found the pulley "teeth" were worn off.
