Default Black hood or carbon fiber

I need ur guys opinion on whether I shud get my hood custom painted for 125 from a guy that I kno, but he is using sherwin Williams paint, which makes me skeptical. Or shud I jus get the carbon fiber hood??

Spend the green on a cf hood. If you don't have the money, leave your hood how it is.

There are couple out there that are pricey, but the VIS is cheap as dirt and I've heard they actually fit pretty decent, they can be had all day for around only $500ish or so. I like the stock hood tho.

depends how your car looks , post up a pic.

if its somewhat modded, go with the CF. otherwise get a regular hood.

If you get a CF hood make sure you have some extra bread left over for a UV protectant clear coat to help prevent oxidation. I've seen Seibon and VIS parts look like garbage within the first year. But supposedly Seibon has a new and improved gel coat which will last according to a friend. He is going to clear coat it anyway, after spending $1500 on pearl metallic paint alone he'd be stupid for not spend a few extra bucks on the hood.

Try a carbon fiber vinyl wrap,first its cheaper& if you don't like its easy to remove.

Tonns of that stuff on ebay. But order twice the amount of vinyl you need. I fu...d up the first try big time.

I would get it vinyl wrapped. Which most people do nowadays. This way, it can always be taken off any given time if you dont like it, if you sell it or simply if the current style changes.

lol. i wouldnt recomend getting car paint from sherman williams...lol. i would get the hood painted by a profesional shop that knows what they're doing. Most paint shops charger around that price range anyways.. around 150 to 200 bucks.
