how do i get my CEL off?
Hey guys i really need help. I've installed my fugita intake about a couple months ago and 2 weeks later the CEL came on. So then i scanned the code and it was for the intake so i erased the code. About another 2 weeks the CEL came back on once again. i tried erasing it again but same thing happens two weeks later, tried disconnecting the battrery and putting it back on ...same thing ...what can i do to take it off? i feel as when the CEL is on the car is very sluggish and it jsut wont go...please help

Does the intake relocate the air sensor at all? If so, the wires could be stretched causing poor readings with engine vibration and heat affecting the wire tension.

Hmm. Not sure then. What's the exact code definition? There's a rubber gasket for the sensor that, if missing or bad, could be letting more air in that conflicts with the other sensors but doubt that would cause enough issues for a CEL...then again...

It's totally common with most aftermarket intake tubes, you should be getting the lean condition detected code. It's not going to go away, it may come and go due to varying weather or engine load. These cars do not respond to intakes very well like honda's do. This is why the $500 SRT intake kit is so popular since it comes with a simple tuned module to account for the new airflow from a larger intake tube and open filter.
Although you can just grab an Apexi-NEO or SAFC II for pretty cheap and get the car tuned with the current intake you have and actually make a little more power, not just additional intake noise, and the code will stay away as well.
Or just do what he said ^^^^^^^
