Default COMPUTER SUB-ASSY, SHIFT LOCK CONTROL what does it control?

I have been trying to figure out why my car won't shift into park and my brake lights don't work. I have replaced my tail fuse, replaced my stop fuse, and replaced my brake light switch. I'm starting to get scared! I know I can use the override for the shifter, but that doesn't fix the problem. Still no brake lights and have to use a screwdriver to get the car into gear. Would the COMPUTER SUB-ASSY, SHIFT LOCK CONTROL be the problem? Does it control the brake lights also? I have lights that came on to VCS, ECU, and 1 other I can remember right now. Any ideas, getting pretty worried. This all happened when I changed the third brake light, but the car had been sitting for a couple days, but most don't think they are related.

I'm having both problems. Your first problem is most likey a faulty shiftlock control ecu found under the shifter. The 2nd problem is most likely your tail light ECU/relay found in the trunk on the driver's side near the antenna mast. Sorry don't have time to post any links to any threads here but I believe there are some.
