gs300 hard start and random loss of power problem
I have a 2jzgte swapped 2000 gs300 and as of recently have been having an issue with occasional hard starting of the car. car does not feel like its running the same as usual. The car also randomly loses all electrical power for a split second while driving and then it comes right back on without stalling or anything. Thinking one of my problems might be cam position sensor. let me know if you thing you might know what it could be.

Had the same electrical cutting out that included throttle hesitation on my gs300. Thought it was a slew of other stuff but it was an extremely dirty MAF sensor that needed cleaning. That was it. Prior to finding that MAF problem, I looked into the ECU for a leaking capacitor. Sounds like your gremlin is a leaking capacitor. Hope this is of some help.

its kinda odd because it did it like 8 times yesterday on a short drive and didnt do it once today. My air fuel ratios are kinda off too. When i let of gas it will go rich then lean out. When i first give it a little throttle it goes lean then richen.
