Nice write up Jeff! I used some plug and play led bulbs from Ziza in my car.

My situation is even worse in a sense, I have a semi-shared driveway, where 18" of my driveway is actually my neighbors.

Only reason I did this LED board mod is to save some money. It costs $10 in parts vs $50 or so to buy the pre-made ones. I have 3 cars to mod, have to save some money to do all 3 cars up lol.
