hahha...AGREED!
Best ever is (one of my all-time FAV rides, too!) the M-Benz CL65. Came out in '05...engine didn't change til '11 or '12 though! ha...
MSRP was around $185 for an '05 model. You can get a "NICE" (MINT!) example of one with less than 40k miles now for UNDER $40,000. LMFAO..
Car depreciated more than my HOUSE is worth in only 7 years... lol (in LIKE-NEW condition)
BMW/BENZ and AUDI too....WORST EVER on depreciation.
I agree though- Even FOR a "TOYOTA" product, the 2GS's are getting cheaper and cheaper.
I'll keep mine!

hahha... even better- here's an '05 with only 11k on it. "ASKING" for $49,900. lol!!! (and people spend in MAJOR excess of $55-$60k+ on brand new BOGUS Benz's !!!!! Dahhhaammmit!!!
If I had the money for one of these, I'd buy one! hahhaa (and I'd pay the INSANE cost to maintenance it, too- since I saved like $135k from buying it NEW, just 7 years ago) LOL
Hp = 604. 6.0 liter Twin-Turbo V12 Torque ? YES! 738 ft/lb of torque at only 3,000 rpm.
Zero-to-Sixty... SUB 4 seconds! Crazy, right?

Just saw it on ebay that's insane, msrp of 177k 0_0 - I'm surprised to see the GS's still fetch 6-8k even with 150k+ miles, I feel retarded fortunate finding a 01 gs with 12k miles like brand new.

i don't know, first a nice 2GS is kind of hard to find. And for a 10+ year old car where people are still selling them for 8,9,10K for some of the nice examples with 150,000 or more miles i'm thinking you'll have a hard time finding many of sedans of this age and miles, even nicer models holding this value.
i have people give me the "ooooh it's a lexus" like it must cost a lot, and i have to remind them that it is a 99. I'm thinking i got a pretty good deal picking mine up last year for $7300 basically as it sits now minus; the visors, lowering, and clear markers.

My car turned 10 this month... i must say, out of most cars in the road, I think its one of the most modern looking 10 yearolds other there.
Been thinking about the newer X5, but i just can stomach selling mine while it still looks and drives wonderfully. However, i think time may not be on our side for long since we are two generations behind.

^^^This....and I thought mileage wasnt that bad. I was willing to pay for a dependable car that'll look great stock and keep it like that. However, the plan of keeping it stock failed.

My 2001 GS with 120k cost me 4000$ concerning all the great electric gizzmos its pretty cheap.
a good 200sx s13 retails about 7000$ and is 8 years older!
Only downside...we have A LOT of c class Benz in Germany so the GS is concerned a "knockoff" but the better one concerning they do not rust like the mercedes do ;-)
