I'll try and take pics along the way. Wheel specs are CCW CLASSICS 18x11.5 -12F/-35R with 315/30 NT01's

In the picture the car still has a 15mm spacer in the rear that will be coming off.

Im sorry i just read this thread up to page 5 and have some questions.

Why is VIP getting brought up when the OP was looking for, as said, a "street race" looking gs.
Iv been around the street scene since I was a kid (in northern cali) and i am a spectator here in az. And i cannot see a slammed gs with camber flying down the roads let alone even being able to grip well from a launch with crazy camber. So i am confused as to how vip can still be street. Streetable and street are completely different. I can see them being "drifted" as i have seen a few at my local drift and drag at wildhorse raceway. But the real street scene consists of high $ bets and high speeds on streets, usually with f body camaros and mustangs not lowered on drag slicks. I see a vip gs being a complete fail being street raced with all the extra weight from accesories, and potholes would be coming very quick i dont see it being a good idea to avoid them going 100+

Also what is vip, did it originate from car clubs in japan? It reminds me of swift CC but in a luxury manner. Not knocking vip, i actually appreciate all the work that goes in to them and some on here have gs's that i drool over.

Wow dude, you need to do the research on where vip style originated and what it truly is and how it came to be. Start off with Yakuzza.

As for reading up to page 5.. well this is a 3 year old thread.

Man... shouldn't even post photos yet... too cold here to start body work yet (Unless I wanted her parked the whole time)

Just finishing up some minor mechanical stuff, getting everything 100% - everything, down to interior backlight bulbs and squeeks... everything

Soon as it's warm I'm on to body work, getting this kit fit right, color, wheels, tint...

She'll shape up fast as soon as it's warm out

Anyway, going street.... I may go with that stellar street hood a couple cats here have.
Not really gonna slam her, and gonna go to a 245/45/18 so I have some rubber

Here she is in all her ugly glory

I really need to do some more reading here, but there are SO MANY posts in the wheel threads it's hard to pin down what would fit what I want - only so much time to be reading this stuff online and so many posts lol

I don't want clearance issues, and I want my spedo within a couple MPH

Factory being 26.16" diameter, a 245/45/18 is 26.68 and keeps me pretty close at highway speed...

Again, I should probably read more - I wouldn't mind a 20" as long as I could still run some rubber, and have clearance.... at least for now I am keeping factory height - I already scrape stuff with how low this kit extends ... with a 20 I could probably squat a little and still have more clearance than I do now???

Dude, no need to really worry about speedo I'm one of the few running 22's and my speedo isnt significantly off until I hit 70mph+ I go by one of those police radars that scare you to think that its taking photos and at 45mph I'm still at about 45.5mph. My deck is running off GPS and even at 70mph I think I'm at like 73mph (I cant remember at the moment )

Would this be street style?

Coilovers but no silly camber.

LSD

Big(ish) brakes

No big bodykit, just the TTE gear...
