Anyone has good or bad experience with after market Moog ball joint?
After reading the warning about ball joints on GS MODEL from 1998-2000 ball joints, I wanna replace mine but some member reported that after 2 wks with oem ball
joints replacement, it went out on him. I know federal mogul brand Moog ball joints are cheaper but anyone has any experience with hat brand?
Please share... Thanks

They should be fine for oem spec suspensions. But for lowered cars you should be looking at extended lengths or extended range ball joints.

i still dont understand why people still think OEM is faulty.. they last like 100k miles in a stock car. lol.. so its obviously working the way its designed to..
also, its a wear and tear item guys.
WEAR AND TEAR = REPLACE when WORN OUT.. its not a LIFETIME NONREPLACEMENT ITEM.
cmon guys.
as for Moog. lotta peepo said its good. havent had first hand exp though.
WEAR AND TEAR goddamit.

I replaced my Ball Joints with OEM and I won't be changing them for another 100K assuming my car gets there.
As for Moog, I installed Moog Sway Bar Links this Winter. They have already begun to rust in the short span until now.
I know that rust on the metal isn't really a big deal and that the ball joints are what matter, but either way I would rather not see rust on a 3 month old part.
I guess my opinion is that right now Moog is fine, but I would still take OEM.

Have moog lower bjs sitting at my shop waiting for my coils to arrive so I'll chime back In after install. I like the fact that they have grease fittings. Anything that you can lubricate over its life span is a plus
