Default No O2 Readings?

Hi,

I recently had my motor replaced in my 98 GS3 with an O5 IS 2JZ. The motor will start but won't idle correctly. My mechanic says there is no reading from any of the o2 sensors.

Is it possible for all the sensors to have fouled out from the old motor? Or is it more plausible that the ecu has **** the bed?

Thanks,
Mike

I would check for a wire integrity problem. Such as an open wire/shorted wire from the o2 sensor all the way to the pcm.

Are you using the 2005 O2 sensors or your old 98 ones?

If using the 98's - does the 98 and 05 use the same O2 sensors? I doubt it. Perhaps their wiring arrangement in the plug is different?
