Would you buy this 03 gs300?
Has 274k miles......but is being sold via a Lexus dealer......so I am rather positive they would not sell something that could be sold wholesaled for a few k.
The pictures looks hella freaking clean....no rips in the leather....etc.....some service records.....
Should I work on buying parts asap? I would like to rebuild the engine soon anyway (by the end of summer) so pistons, rods, cams etc.....turbo.....and the tranny rebuilt to hold the power of a tarbo~
Let me know your thoughts.....daily driver over 200 miles weekly.....
thanks

And that is what I was thinking too.....if I am going to rebuild it.....who cares as long as it lasts until the rebuild is complete, lol
And that is the only issue in itself.

That dealer is tripping with their typical overpriced vehicle that they more then likely took on trade for $2k. I am a car dealer, so i am being a hypocrite but telling the truth lol. The used car market is EXTREMELY hot right now though and auction prices are through the roof. So i wouldnt be surprised if they paid close to 4-4500 for that car on trade just because supply and demand.

u can find a clean gs with WAAAAAY less mile for that price. Even if you were swapping the motor that body still has 200k+ miles and lord knows how it was maintained. Dont do it.

interior looks better than mine 2002 with less than half that miles
but over $6k for a car with almost 300k
if you wana do engine swap buy something with damaged engine (i know its probably gona take time but you gona save some $ and most likely less miles on body)
unless you are in hurry or dont care about $

So I bought it. Just got back into town. 6k was final offer.
It needs a few TLC things....nothing major , drove it back from Chicago to Charleston SC
And its a 9.5 out of 10 inside......7:10 paint (just because road rash......nothing else...
Will take pics tomorrow or this weekend.
