Congrats on the car hope all goes well... How's the suspension on the car? I would recommend that you replace the bushings on the car I can guarantee that everybody in CL will agree with me.
Bushings on this cars is the worst. who knows when was the last time they were replace on the car.

Check and check. Fully loaded. 1 owner for all of the miles.....32 pages of service records.....oil changes done by the Lexus dealer every 3-5k.....few things here and there that came up that dealer fixed.
You guys have no faith in these cars I guess as for the rust......I had the owner of the speed shop I take all my cars to check it on the lift.....he was quite surprised that the rust was not bad at all
And first things first.....replacing pretty much everything suspension wise. Bushings.....control arms, tie rods.......the works......and Poly bushings. Then coilovers (going with a new brand the speed shop is working with, Fortune Auto http://www.fortune-auto.net/productpage.htm. Then sway bars, strut bars.
Then onto the next section.
I think I paid for what I got. I did not find anything cheaper with as good of an interior. It looks like it has 40k on it.....if that.
Anything else with half the mileage was 12k+

Anyhoo , and you wont see me asking how to fix anything because either I will read the DIY's or have friends assist, or take it to the speed shop I have taken all my cars to.
All I need is to find a complete poly bushing kit ^_^

its not that we dont have faith in this cars (gs even with 300k could be great car) its the price for a car with that milage , but its your money (a year ago i paid 9k for 2002 gs430 with 115k miles, so far one new upper control arm and 2 lower ball joints and no rust so far)
i bought my car from illinois but only because i do live here, if i would live in sc i would look into fl cars
as for interior its probably depends my 2000 ls400 with 150k miles had less wear on seats than my 2002 gs with less milage, but on steering wheel both had wear
