Default Parking (wedge) light is out....which fuse?

Hey gang,

Need help...my situation....my parking (wedge) and tail lights lights were out.

Everything else works fine...fogs, low beams, high beams, brake lights when peddle is depressed, interior lights.

Went to the driver side fuse box next to the foot brake....#4 position for tail lights....10 amp fuse was blown...replaced it with another 10 amp fuse...turn ON the parking lights...IT BLOWS AGAIN...Im like WTF?!

I pull out the 10 amp fuse again...this time I replaced it with a 15 amp fuse....it lights up....great!!! Except for my driver side parking (wedge) light ...passenger side lights up fine. I check the connections on the driver side wedge bulb....its tight and dry. What gives?

So, is there a fuse for the driver side parking (wedge) light? Btw...i have the projector/halo headlight housings.

Pete

Perhaps that bulb is blown?

and you shouldn't be blowing fuses. 15a is masking the problem. a short somewhere.

did this all of a sudden occur or did you install something recently related?

ouch! you definitely have a short. Don't think a 15AMP will fix the problem.... as it may get worst.

Have you tried unplugging all the ADD-ONS to see if it functions as OEM and trouble shoot from there?

Also, do you have aftermarket alarm? Some do hookup to the Park lights signal to flash. Good to check there too!

Im parting out so I removed my LED (inner and outer) taillight housings...also removed my Blitz Nur Spec exhaust yesterday.

Installed my OEM tail lights...and this happens. Still running my projector/halo headlights tho.

Everything was working prior to removal....weird.

Im going to buy some more 10 amp fuses to replace the ones that blew out....hopefully, it won't keep happening. I also removed the black grnd on the battery to reset the ecu.

Last resort...swap out the projector/halo headlights back to stock headlights...and hope the normal wedge bulb will light up.

update...got some new 10 amp fuses in the #4 position of the driver-side fuse box...lights up as it should...no blow outs this time.

unfortunately, my driver-side halo is still out...pass side halo shines....must be the halo.
