What's up CL?

I must not have good search skills, does anyone have a part number for the 2JZ VVT-I pulley O-Ring or someone that might carry one? I've seen the RTV trick, but would like to replace the seal instead.

I PM'd jefftsai, but no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

No one has found the square oring that I am aware of.. Luckily the complete pulley is relatively cheap to replace if you order it online..

Jeff probably gets 50 PM's a day, his box is usually just full..

To me, That's a lot of metal to replace a worn o ring.

What i ended up doing, was just buying a 700r transmission rebuild kit, and used some of the square seals. Had PERFECT snug fitment on the inner ring for the moving vvti gear (Should not be taken apart that far, It was a PAIN to get the car timed right after that!), and the back plate seal as well. Give that a try, the parts are everywhere, and cheaper than hell. After re-ringing my vvti solenoid, (sounds ricer), but i did notice a difference in it actually kicking in. (my car has 500k++ miles on it with original motor/tranny). They were wore, and got lucky with the seal kit, replaced them, and haven't had a leak/problem since! (6k miles and counting)

90068-14030 (replaced 90099-14137) is that for the control solenoid or for the VVTI pulley itself? I just want to make sure I get the right part before I order. I've seen the pulley taken apart (pics on CL) and it looked like a large round o ring. I live on Guam and parts take forever to get here.

Is this the actual ring that leaks? I've googled the parts number and what I have been reading is that the ring is a "cam timing oil control valve." Wouldn't that be the device on the outside of the camshaft cover opposed to the seal that leaks?
