Should I give up on this projector project?

Should I give up on this projector project?
What's up fellas.
I bought some projectors from a member, sorry to say that I kind of got shafted.
The member had posted some projectors that were actually built by another member... any how I spent 300 bucks and the seller failed to take pics of the flawed parts.
I had high hopes for the projectors... and the look of the car afterwards.
Sorry for huge pics. I'm on my phone.
Some pics of the imperfections ... the driver side light is the one with the issue... its a real hackjob... the fog light is all corroded and peeling inside. And it has a crack in the bowl.
Anyhow, do i abandon this project?? 300 bucks down the drain? Is there a way to fix this problem? Just looking @ the sealing of it, it looks like it could have condensation and a lot of the back is cracked... so done deal?? Any hope? Anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks in advance

$300 hmmm i wouldn't jump ship just yet, that's actually not that bad of a price, that's the price some sets of ls430 projectors go for alone.. and you could still salvage them easily, it all depends on whether you feel the work would be worth it.. if not i'm pretty sure another member would be interested in them for 300. Like Stealth suggested, just swap them over with new housing. even with the added expense it's still worth it IMO, try wet sanding first though, you'll be surprised the improvement that'll make alone.

Like these guys are saying the projectors are worth the $300. If you strapped you can get brand new depo or eagle eyes oem replica housings and put those projectors in them and it will all look brand new and crystal clear.
Looks like you've got some bubbling/peeling in the chrome on the high beam area. I bought a used set of lights that had that same issue, I knew it did and they were cheap but I needed them for some other small parts so it didn't matter. This can happen from running drop in hid bulbs in the highs and running them for extended periods at a time, as it such a small area and the heat builds up quickly and can bubble the chrome.
Keep the projectors and swap them out. Or you can list the lights and someone here will buy them for $300 if you just not happy with your purchase.

So he needs to either paint the inner bezels or get new ones.
But yeah like you say the lenses can be salvaged with a little elbow grease.
BTW, I really like the bezel color against the silver on your car. It's a good combo. It would look hot with your fogs and side markers done the same way..

Well its not only the inner highbeam section, but most of that head light in general.
What do you guys mean by switching out the lenses? Just the clear part? I have tried to buff it but its still hazy.
I just hate trying that whole putting the lights in the oven thing. I'm not ballin so if I mess up, that's that... no coming back.
There are little parts you can hear shaking and rattling that you know broke and its just stuck there rattling.
I have a pair of old eBay projector halo lights.... maybe I can try to salvage something off it
Btw these are rx300 projectors...

Oh, at first glance I though they were ls430. I'm not sure what the rx300 are worth but are still decent projectors.
Don't be scared of the oven man, I've done it a bunch of times. No worries. Ovens vary but I do like 220 for 10-12 minutes and test pulling the lens, then usually end up doing another 5min or so. At 220 or so your not gonna melt anything..
