okay so my driver side seat belt does not re track anymore and that is a safety issue...okay so my brother tells me honda has a lifetime safety recall on there seat belts if it does not ever work properly.

so i tried looking this up for my 02 gs300 since my seat belt does not work and can't seem to find anything...does lexus offer a free replacement recall type deal since it a safety issue?

i believe it is not a covered option, especially since its out of warranty. call the dealer

Honda covers seat belt for the life of the car. i believe Lexus does not cover if the vehicle is over 100k miles

any safety equipement i.e. seatbelts, airbags, etc.. are lifetime covered by dealer.

Can you source this? I doubt it, especially airbags... His car is an 2002 btw..

Incorrect. Most auto mfg cover seatbelts up to 100k miles. Air bags are covered under the vehicles factory warranty.

Honda is the only one who covers seatbelts for the life of the car IF its a defect.

Best thing is to go to your local dealer and speak with a service manager about the warranty of the belts.
