GS - 2nd Gen (1998-2005) Discussion about the second generation GS300, GS400 and GS430 (1998 - 2005)

I want to paint my calipers but PROFESSIONALLY if possible.. please need suggestions.

Since sandblasting is a part of the powder coating prep, the calipers came back cleaner than factory new. Here's some photos of the results

I was actually going to repaint mine here soon... If i go BBK its going to be a bright color..


question.. Its been many years since i did mine and need to take off the old paint.. What grit would you guys recommend and should i do a few coats of clear after the G2 process?

prep work
Sand
Brake cleaner
G2
Clear

Mine lasted about 7 years so its time to redo them.. There's some nice chips in them lol...

Vishuz - actually the dual tone red and black looks pretty good!


OP just save some more and powdercoat them, but dont do all the work on the stock calipers...
