the car has been sitting for awhile, thus no updates. It's now getting its turn to get going on this build.
motor is in......my last set up had alot of bling in the engine bay, I didnt go that route this time around. Polishing engine parts gets real old, real quick. Clean and simple is the theme this time around. Instead of polishing or chrome, I went with cerma chrome on the intake and valve covers, ceramic coated the exhaust manifold black, There will be a little more bling in there with the polished piping, radiator, and a few more other odds and ends. I really wanted to keep it clean, black with a little bling.
By the way, yes, I did keep the V160
I have a new body set up as well, but that has been changing every other week so I wont even post on that yet.
My HRE's are undergoing a new look aswe speak, should have those back this week. They should look pretty bad *** if my vision is on point. Hopefull this is going to kick into high gear now.

looks fantastic, cant wait to see what you came up with on the exterior!!!
I wanted to keep it simple this time around after selling the Vertex kit.
I'm with you on the polishing gets old.
Any pics of the entire car!?

Oh well, I guess the last of the four original "horsemen" has now left. I am glad you decided to keep the car. I just finished my second/third rebuild and am totally loving the car again. Too bad about leaving the 1UZ family, it would've been good to have an east coast connection to my far West coast baby.
Get the car done before winter!!! otherwise it's gonna sit too long and you will lose the fire..ya know what I mean. lol

Damn! I remember when this car was for sale, I wanted it so badly but couldn't afford it.
What made you decide to tear it up? I can see that you are making it awesome again, just in a different direction.
I'm just curious why you didn't keep the 1UZ twin set up.
