I did I search and it's already on the market except I will use the aux cable instead of the tape head and run the power cord through the inside of tape so there are no exposed cables

I got my blue tooth and intalled it. Ran into a problem, alternator noise through the speakers. To solve this problem I ran the cig lighter ground, and the aux cable ground to a bolt that holds the amplifier (this way everything has the same ground). Problem solved. Then I tried different cig lighter to USB adapters. All of them made a buzzing sound except the Belkin mini adapter. Now I am good to go. And my iPod connects with no wires. Here is a link to the Bluetooth device. If you want to wait longer you can get it on eBay for a little more than 7.00 dollars.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but are you only using one half of the speaker wire (positive or negative)? Cutting 5 one foot strips of speaker wire would technically be 10 pieces if split. Am I missing something? Thanks for posting this write-up. I've bought the audio jack and would love to get this installed by the end of the weekend.

thanks for the reply PinaQkoNga. what do i do with the other half then? i have 50 feet of speaker wire. if i cut five 1 foot segments and only use one half (let's say the positive side). what are the negative side portions of the speaker cable doing? again i apologize if these are basic questions

I used one of the bolts that's holding up the whole CD changer. You can hear the engine in the through the speakers a little as you drive but only if you don't have anything playing. With the musics bumping, you don't even hear it(noise).
