If you live by a K-Mart, run to their oil section ASAP if you change oil yourself. Right now they are clearing out their 1 gallon jugs on oil to make space for the 5 qt jugs. All of their dino oil is $4/gallon and $7/gallon for synthetic oil. Yes, you read that correctly. The one store that I went to didn't have any Mobil 1 syn, but they did have Castrol Syntec so I'm happy with that. $44 out the door. I'm good for at least two years with what I have stashed away now. I completely cleared my location out. I will go to the other KMart later this week to see what they have. In this purchase, I have 54k miles with dino oil (6k oci's) and 8k with the syn oil...62k miles worth of oil. With what I already have stored away now, I'm at 80k miles total of unused oil. Get someone to scan the jug if it's isn't marked down. They were marked full price, but I had them to scan it for the true cost. Thanks BITOG...great oil site lol.

Advance has their Mobil super 5qt jugs on sale for 17$... Originally 25$... I know it's not the same as $7 but I figured I would throw it out there...

Thanks OP! I was going to do a Oil change this up coming weekend. Hopefully my local Kmart has these same great prices!

LOL. Yeah you MUST didn't read it right. No one has these prices.

To everyone else, please go check your store. I wouldn't call, I would go check myself to make sure you get the sale and not the workers. As stated, my store had the regular price tag on them. After I told the guy to scan it and it came to $4, his eyes popped because he changes his own oil. He asked if I could save him some because he got off in 1hr lol. I told him I'm sorry, but I don't run across deals like this often and I bought all of them. Make sure to scan all of the gallon jugs in all brands/flavors.

I don't use syn oil, but for $1.75/qt, I had to buy it. Bob Is the Oil Guy has a HUGE following, so I'm going to check the other K-Mart today to make sure that location has some. That site always keeps me updated with sales & Advance Coupon codes.

My local K-mart didn't have the sale on 1 gallon jugs, they did however have sales on certain quarts, Mobil 1 15w-50 for $4.96 retails for ~$9 so I pick some of those up.
