is this the timing belt I need?
I went to that Sewell lexus place and with our discount the belt(that I guess I have to replace at 90k)is only $36 with our discount, is this a genunine lexus part? I had a friend with a camry that said they used an aftermarket timing belt and it only lasted them 36k and they almost blew up their engine when it came off. I want to make sure I get the good belt that is suppose to last 90k, but thought it was like $100?
Here's the part# from the site:
Part #: 1356809070

wow that's awesome. So is it true that if u use an aftermarket Lexus timing belt, they can break at 36k like my co-workers car did, or was she just unlucky? Yeah i'm replacing the water pump rings etc., already got quoted for the entire project for $650 including parts, but wanted to buy the belt myself so it will last 90k and save a few dollars from that $650 price he quoted
