Default AC Stopped Working.. Mechanic said its the AC compressor
what are some things i should check first before i shell out $400 on an ac compressor? when i bought my car last year the AC lasted for a year before the light started blinking and stopped shooting out cold air. Can i refill the AC and use it before i shell out $400 on a compressor? Thanks!

A/C system can be expensive to fix. Make sure the compressor is getting power, then make sure the compressor is not seized. Start from there.
