The only issue I have is they are not offering what I want. I want a GS 450h F-sport but that is only available in Europe....The F-sport here is 350 only.

Sorry but I sometimes think the 2GS guys are stuck in 2000. The car is sensational and makes my 3GS and 2GS feel ancient. I rode in the car with Scott Pruett and it drives better than the IS F. It sounds great and handles best in class as far as I am concerned. The car had the rear yaw control and bigger brakes etc F-sport package. It was superb.

The interior was red and built like the 2GS but even better, like a tank. 12" screen and what 800watt ML system. The tech is out of this world for a car.

Then the new GS 450h will get near 27-33 MPG and be as fast as a GS 400 if not slightly faster. That is 10 MPG better.

Finally in person it looks great. I was scared it would be ugly at first but it looks so aggressive and angry! It looks nothing like an Acura, nothing.

I'll see but I was skeptical at first but after seeing it in person/touching it, riding in it, well its a fantastic GS. Now where is that GS F?

And while the media gets utterly dumb when it comes to Lexus, it has about 6-10 either world firsts or firsts in class. It also weighs as much as the 2GS yet is larger with way more equipment. F-sport offers staggered 19s and LED headlights.

And no crap, it has a 18.7 cube trunk, BIGGER than the LS

And SICK I couldn't agree with you more.. Some of these guys are stuck in 2000 I love my GS430 and will probably keep it but come on.. Wait till you see it in person

Totally agree. No matter what car I get, I'm gonna always have my GS300. Hopefully if my pockets are right, I'll get a 4GS in a couple of years but next month I'm getting a S550 for sure.

i love it! but will probably get a used one in a few years, since i hate the fact new cars lose 25% of its value out of the lot.

At first I hated it but, it has quickly grown on me. I will get a 3GS next. Hopefully either a 450h or 460 then a 4GS later down the road.

#poor so I can't afford a 4GS for a couple years ....

I love my 2GS for as long as I can't afford anything newer anyway . I am keeping my 2GS for as long as possible and never selling.

I will get other cars after for sure.

Not feeling the design at all, I rather go LS460. And as far as my 2nd gen, Im keeping it till the wheels fall off. Best car I ever owned.

I think we are stuck in 1998 because when the GS 400 came out it was the fastest in its class. The 3rd and 4th generation GS do not lead their class in speed or acceleration. Speed is important for the GS since it was originally marketed as a sports sedan.

I like the 4th generation GS and I realize that it is better in every way than the 2nd Gen GS because it is 14 years newer. However, the 2nd Gen GS was a Big Deal because of its speed. The 4th Gen GS, not so much.

Hopefully the 4th Gen GS F is fast.

I thought I was the only one who felt this way.

I am sure the 4GS is better than the previous models in every way....except good looks. If I ever get over the Predator front grill, anything is possible in the future. I want to keep the 3GS forever but nothing wrong with adding cars. I think an LS460 or SC430 would be the next choice. Looks like Lexus is gonna put Predator grills on all the new cars. Time for pre-owned.

In my estimation, now is the time to buy a 3rd gen GS. With the new version coming out, I expect the former generation will take a bit more of a depreciation hit. Smart money is on a CPO or lightly used model. Specifically, the GS460 has already taken a bearing and I think it'll get worse before it gets better.

I expect the 4GS will look markedly better inside with a single color scheme, especially black. I haven't seen one, yet. The show car's reddish brown seats with black and tan dash is too much for me to handle. I love all the tech it offers and can't agree enough about the lazy 350 power train carryover plus retuning the hybrid 450h for mpg over performance.

Honestly i dont know how some of you guys think the new GS looks ugly. This car is better in every way compared to the 3rd gen especially the 2nd gen. I mean this is cOming from a lexus fanatic, but honestly there is nothing all that special about the 2gs. Yes its a great car but its no longer 1998 its almost 14 years after they were released. Our cars now are just plain old in every which way. This new GS has been built by the same company which made the brand so great, do you guys really think they would put their best seller our there and have it jeopardize everything lexus has built? Seriously come on this car company has taken over mercedes in every way and benz has been around for over a century, lexus did it in 20 years. Seriously for you guys that say its ugly, i dont believe you.
