Default Picked up a GS430!

Coming from a sc300 part of the forum.

I just picked up a clean blk/blk gs430 with 170k miles yesterday night. Timing belt service was done about 1k miles ago also new LCAs, motor mounts. Fully loaded with navi. Paint is 9/10 Interior is about 8.5/10

Just a few common things such as door actuators, trunk latch doesnt work.

A few "mods" to do list

DIY chrome grill
FX-R retrofit
Coils
Full face wheels.
LED tails

Should be good enough for now.

Nice find. I went from the SC to the GS. You'll love that car.

Thanks, I have a question regarding the key situation...

So i only received one key unfortunately it was not the key with fob. I believe its a valet key. It starts the car, opens the trunk, but does no unlock the glove box/ trunk button lock. I heard that if the security stays on then its not a master key, mine turned off but not instantly does that mean i have a Valet key?

I plan on ordering the key from Sewell which turns out to be $160 shipped to me, but how much would it cost to program / reflash the ecu?

So you got a 2GS after all?

Nice choice. Get a Blitz throttle controller on it right away to eliminate the electronic throttle lag. You will LOVE this thing (setting three on the highway is crazy lol).

Security light should go out when a working key is placed in the ignition cylinder, valet or master. Your key is a valet if it does not open the glovebox and trunk lock button.

Go to a good locksmith, not a dealership for flashing.
