Default Upper rad hose slides back a few mm. Is this this normal? PICS

Car is 01 GS430 71k miles. I moved it forward and it slides back to where the pics show. I dont understand why. Its not leaking and it seems to stop when it hits the lip on rad. dont know if its always been like this or if I just noticed it. I thought maybe the stock preloade clamp got tired so I put on a regular clamp but it still does it. Car doesn't run hot or boil over into overflow. last pic shows where it I put it before it moves.

Weird, just noticed the same problem with mine as well. Bought a hose clamp at autozone, tightened the living crap out of it, and it seems to stay in place now.

regular clamp seemed to help mine a little but I'm leery tightning the crap out of it because the rad is plastic....

Doubt it & also mounts were replaced once already under warranty.

Check your radiator cap. When I discovered my hose was sliding off, I removed the cap, and found that the bottom piece broke off (and is roaming through my cooling system somewhere). Just wondering if its a coincidence.

That factory clamps sucks. If you can, get the hose clamp that you can tighten it

I wouldn't sweat it. As long as you have that clamp on their, it won't get by that 'lip' on the radiator outlet.

There was a guy with a black gs400 with Works T1S had his hose slipped off. Fix it before it happens.

I also think its a sign that the motor mount is going bad, mine does the same thing and I know my mounts are bad.
