206k (currently) bought with 175k only thing that needed to be replaced was the serpentine belt tensioner right at 200k, that was pretty cheap though, I've replaced the upper ball joints even though they didn't really need it, and of course fluids brake pads, and timing belt water pump, still looks fantastic and drives smooth as silk

what year and what gs do you have and are you on the original engine and tranny? I think this specific lexus generation is one of the few cars on the road where an original engine and tranny can last over 300k. I mean that is unheard of, most cars would have went through 2 or 3 engines/trannys by then.

98 GS4, original everything. 3rd timing belt/pulleys. I run Amsoil and change oil/filter every 25k. I use maybe 1/2 quart oil every 25k miles. I bought the car with 138k in Oct 2011. I will hit 100k since I had the car this week.

My 00 Park Ave Ultra with a supercharged 3800 in it has 220k, but is far more tired of a car everywhere than my Lexus is. Plastics broken, but still original drivetrain, just feels cheap and worn out in comparison. I really would be surprised it I look at anything other than a Lexus for my next car. I don't like fixing stupid... With GM, you have to fix a lot of stupid things that shouldn't have been broken in the first place.

When I bought my 94 Fleetwood, and my 2000 Park Ave, I was able to go to the forums and find all the "stupid GM problems" that everyone needed to fix to make the car last. Rear window clips, if they break, the window breaks. Wrong diff gasket, ruins axle shafts (Recall was only for Police and Taxi, but normal cars the owner got socked with the bill to fix), bad Optispark distribuitors, leaking water pumps, leaking power steering boxes, dash lights failing, etc. Oh, that is the Fleetwood only. And that was one of Cadillac's most reliable cars. Sure it would go 400k miles, but you had to keep it going.

So I am just done with GM. You can't fix stupid from the factory. GM's motto must be "if in doubt, ship it out, let the customer sort it out"

149,700 over here. Just did a major tune up 2 weeks ago. Replaced timing belt+idler and tenshioner bearings, water pump+o rings and gasket, thermostat+gasket, serpentine belt, radiator flush, sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, valve cover gaskets, 4th drain and refill on tranny and diff. Runs like new

Right up there with me! Any issues that you have seen? Me, just the usual ball joints/tie rods and a timing belt swap. Rest is all maint items and that is it. Been super solid car.

I am at 249K, but some of the "Triple OG's" have easily surpassed 300K.

Default 309k and counting

I've got a little over 309k miles on my '92 SC300 5-sod. I've owned it since '97 and 60k miles. I've only done "normal" maintenance on the car over the years. It still looks and drives like a dream.
