Default From vegas to cali today - whats the best cruise speed for MPG?

So guys im about to go off to Fresno from Las Vegas today. What speed have you guys found to be the best balance of mpg and speed? Im sure that 65mph would be awesome but that would add an hour to my trip vs 75mph. Highway MPG experiences pleas chime in....

75 is good. ide go 80 to keep the flow of traffic constant.. MPG is best when you do not have to accelerate faster from the speed you are currently going and you do not brake .

Keep us posted on what you end up getting. I haven't got a good trip in my new GS4. Just short ones, still ending up with an average of 21-23.5 city/highway mix.

id say 75 mph but I cant cruise the whole way, ill hit 90 even 100 for stretches than 85 then 75 if i spot a cop also depends which freeway u gonna go
on the 15 you can drive 80 no problem 58 you gotta go slower and then the 99 80 again without getting a ticket

Went from San Jose CA to Anaheim CA to West Covina CA (total 425 miles) on a single tank with my GS4. Was with a carshow convoy (with some trucks with trailer in tow), cruise control at 65. Refilled the tank with 18gal. which would put the MPG at 25. Great MPG, but one boring drive.

Ok guys I need a favor... the darn speedometer just went out on my cluster... wow 5 hours before I leave vegas to deliver the car. Anyways can someone get me an RPM reading at 65-80mph... Anywhere in that range would be perfect... My cruise control still works just no darn speedometer. The needle is stuck at like 170mph... wtf

75 to 80? Are you guys nuts? 60 is where MPG starts to fall off.

If you WANT THE BEST MPG, do not cruise above 60.
