Default DIY rear wood table, yay or nay

okay so im a kind of guy who likes to do things myself and get hands on and i liked the idea of having vip tables in the car and that sort of stuff but currently cant afford them, so.. i played with some ideas and this came out of it

this was the very first time i attempted such thing so a lot more work needs to be done, but this is open for comments, good or bad it wont bother me so let me know what yah think

Pretty interesting I was thinking of something a bit more intricate. But a great first attempt.

I like it. But i dont like the finish.
yeah the finish did not really come out the way i wanted, i was trying to match my black wood interior of my car.

Not a bad Job. Much more to do but here is what I created.
your tables are far more superior than mine ahah i still need a lot more work

needs matching wood color though
and maybe chrome accents

good effort but you gotta chrome the edges.. also a deeper color stain along with THICK layer of lacquer or gloss or watever. wetsand polish n presto.

But where can he get those nice chrome accents like James ?
i can find the chrome edging but not the round chrome trim for the cup holders :/

and thanks everyone for the nice comments, it motivates me to improve on it.
