Default Need help with setup combo. Suggestion comments

Hello everyone, first I have a 98 GS3. I live in 4 season climate aka cold weather concern as this will be my only set. This is where i'm at and what I'm looking for(ride quality).
I gonna purchase some wheels poss set up's
18 x 8.5j frnt 245/40 18 - 35 offset
18 x 9.5j rear 275/35 19 - 40 offset
or
19 x 8.5j frnt 245/25 19 - 33 offset
19 x 9.5j rear 275/30 19 - 38 offset

Wanna lower about an inch or lil more without having rubbing issues or having to roll or shave fenders and losing to much ride quality. I truely hate the roll on my GS always have since I purchased it but don't want a stiff ride either. I don't carry much load in the read maybe once it a blue moon. What spring shock strut combo is best for my personal pref? I hope I gave enough info . Any help would be great. thank you !

how bad are the roads in IL? some folks will give different answers because of their hometown roads. like in NY here we have sudden pot holes and debris that 18 is already rough with a drop depending where you drive.

I currently have 18x8.5's and dropped on Eibach/KYB combo (1.5in drop). its not the best setup if youre going for that dumped look but for ride quality i would say this is the best bet. from reading the forums the Tanabe NF210 springs are softer than the Eibachs so you might want to look into that since the eibach's is a tad bit jarring if you hit bumps/imperfections on the road. i drove once with my stock 16's on my normal route to work and the ride is fine but once the 18's go on you feel the roads again but on decent and smooth roads the ride is perfect.

thanks Mike,
Yeah here in Il. every spring when it starts to thaw the sudden pot hole or road buckle appear. Not looking for real dumped look. From all the posts I've read over the few days Tanabe DF210's with the KYB GR-2 or Bilstein work. I just don't want any rubbin. My stocks are pitted and flaking now look like crap. My bushing are going bad common with these. I can't complain for a 13 year old car with 115k all stock everything lasted.

anytime,

it seems with your area 18's might be your best bet. check out this thread for folks riding with 18's.

19's do look hot on the GS's big body but i sacrificed the looks for the ride quality.
