hello ,
i been having a weird issue with my 2001 gs300 . when i press on my brake the radio , head lights and dash power goes out for 1-2sec then comes back on like all is fine , it dont do it every time only every other or 3rd,

i also have a clicking noise coming from my driver rear, i think its the hub? i had my VSC and ABS lights pop on last week, i turned car off and back on and lights were off ...

i dont have check engine light on , can i still run codes >?

any help would be awesome i wannna set this **** on fire

Even if it looks ok, disconnect both battery terminals, clean them with vinagar and baking soda (or battery terminal cleaner), and use a wire brush on both sides. Put it back on, and hopefully your problem is solved. If not, then have your battery tested. If your battery tests ok, its could be your alternator.

My car had the same symptoms, and i I had the battery tested OK, so i rushed out and got an alternator. As a last resort, I cleaned the terminals, and everything is good now. I have a new spare alternator. Oh well!

i am deff gonna look into the batt terminals , i know they are a lil loose , my batt is a brand new die hard platinum.

i cleaned terminals wit wire brush, tightened them up and havent had a prob since , about 300 miles since ...thanks for the pos input \, now i still have this clicking noise coming from rear driver side

Yeh, Sounds like your alternator is on its way out... I just had those lights flash on and it was pretty inconsistent... Some days it would come on within 5 feet of driving and others not at all... Id go to advanced and get them to check your Alternator... If its that, then thats the cause of your lights!

after you clean your battery terminal if you wipe them down with brake fliud, inside and out, you will never have that problem again..works great.

Put a volt meter on the battery with the engine off and do the same with the engine on. You should get a higher reading with it running(over 14 volts).

I know you said that you fixed this, but I had this same problem with my SC300 for years. I replaced the alternator and battery and it would be "fixed" for a little while, but it didn't resolve the issue in the long-term. I would screw with the battery terminals and grounding cables and it would go away for a short time, then come back after a long drive. I ended up having to make a new grounding harness for the engine/chassis.

As for your clicking problem, does this get louder when you turn right?
